I only have 2 cars, and their only action is pretty much getting pounded in the ass by other gay hatchbacks in 60mph top speed races. But I've only played it 3 times since I got it. LOL

One cool thing I noticed is the other drivers change based on how you drive. If you drive cautiously and avoid wrecking, so will they. But if you're all over the place ramming everybody like it's a demolition derby, the other drivers will take you out QUICK. Your reputation as a driver is somehos calculated into the races!

But GRID was more cartoonish. Forza is Killer. I have both, and I don't think GT5 stands a chance.

You could always buy my 360 and pour out some of that Hateraid. :fingaz:

When does Microsoft ever actually delay releasing anything? In fact when have they ever made a product with quality over quantity in mind?

I can agree that Sony has made a few mistakes when it comes to the marketing aspect, but Microsoft is only "winning" the console wars at the moment, because they dumped as many shit consoles and games on the market, and marketed it as being superior because of it

And when it RROD'd, they fixed it both times and extended my 2 year warranty another 18 months FREE. Then they fixed the problem with the crappy hardware they were sold at the source. Customer service and backing their product = WIN. Meanwhile, I've got one PS3 with a failing Blu-Ray lense, and another brand new one with with only a one year warranty. Maybe that's why I'm about to buy ANOTHER XBox 360...

I can agree to a certain extent to the GRID being more of a game than a simulation...but that sense of speed to me does help get you INTO the game a little better, like you are there in the drivers seat...

And the fact that SO many people have had issues with them, how can you fanbois say that it is a great console....just because Microsoft has a billion of those shit boxes to give you when they break? That doesn't make it a good quality product, or even better than another one, it makes it simply a shit product than they can afford to give you, cuz they will eventually make tons of money form you in other areas. For every 1 issue the PS3 has had, there are 20 or 30 XBOx360s that have had issues. That makes it a cheap console, not a good one

Forzas graphics look very good, slightly better than Forza 2. Have the game physics changed at all? I am curious to the engine swaps they ahve and if they added any...

never had a problem with my 360 :D

i've recently just bought GRID (i don't buy many video games) and it's a fun game to play. it's definitely a different type of driving game. but forza is in a different league, as stated. if i owned both consoles (360 and ps3) the whole thing with GT5 constantly being postponed would not sit well with me and i wouldn't wanna buy it. it leads me right to forza 3

I haven't been into engine swaps yet, but the game physics are the same as 2, only improved. I'm rather pleased with it!

I'll never understand the whole "hate Microsoft because they're a big, successful company" thing. People always badmouth MS, but honestly, where would we all be WITHOUT their advancements? They don't release things for the hard core tech guys. They release for the average, mainstream consumer, and those people are thoroughly happy with MS; it shows in their balance sheet. The average consumer loved Windows 98 and Vista, and they'll love Windows 7. The average social/casual gamer loves the 360.

The Elitists will buy Macs and PS3s, and they'll bitch about the "sheep" mentality that the rest of us have and attack our "ignorance is bliss" state of mind. And that's coming from a Playstation Fanboy who bought a 360 becasue the PS3 was pretty but WAY too expensive at the time.

I don't hate Microsoft because they are a big successful company. I am a big believer in a free market, and if a company grows and becomes the largest, who is to tell them no?

I have purchased many Microsoft items, software, and hardware, and I am always disappointed in the quality. I often find myself returning them for something else. I love how Microsoft is so good at developing new stuff that they always seem to have a few holes in their software, stuff that is magically fixed, usually quit easily, just in time for the new and oh so wonderful improved version. To me it seems that MS purposely makes their software and hardware so that you will be left wanting and rush to by the latest and greatest from them, hoping the new and improved version will somehow be free of the things that made you want to buy the newest software or hardware in the first place...just like the Big 3 did with cars.

The thing about MS though is that they are the name in the game, and it is hard to really gain any ground on them as a company because of the dirty tactics they use to keep their foothold as the #1 computer developer in the world, so it is hard to really go with anyone else.

I am not a fan because of the experience I have had with them on a few occasions. It by no means signifies that they are a lousy company, just like some people and their experience with Nissan, I just, based on my experience, don't like them or their products.

With the 360, like I said have played games and enjoyed them. I probably will not purchase one anytime soon, because I refuse to buy something that is known for problems, because if someone were to get a bad unit, it would be me, helping to fuel my dislike for the mighty MS that much more

BTW Joey, those colsole problems with te 360 were eliminated in the wave of systems shipped with HDMI. In essence, if your 360 has HDMI, it's problem-free. The product cycle for the 360 is set longer than everything else MS makes too, so don't be scared to come into the Light. :lol:
