Well this was the only cup kit I could find for the spec. I don't want to go too low, and adjustment doesn't really matter to me, its not like I autocross alot. Do you guys know of another cup kit (matched spring/shock combo) available for the spec? Again Im just going for a little performance and enhanced looks. Or do you think I should just go with, say, a spring/shock combo? I have just heard good things about the matched spring/shock combos as far as driveability(comfort) is concerned. And coming as a "factory" part, I am thinking its going to lean more towards comfort/looks, and less performance, basically a stiffer, more neutral, stock setup. Go ahead bryan, tell me I'm dumb for considering Nismo again ;)

bryan's not here... so i'll say it. you're dumb for consdering nismo.
nismo = overpriced. i know you won't want to go to low, but this is less than a inch in front and .5" in rear. that's not even noticeable.
for the same price you can get the ksports and get the same handling/performance out of it.

+1
Or since you don't care about adjustability you can always get the teins

yeah, tein basics would be good.
if you're really set on getting the full spring (instead of coilover) get some koni yellows and eibach or tein springs.

Oh, and who else makes a basic lip kit? I know the nismo looks good, but its way expensive, I can't find any on the SCO site.

The only thing that is bad is there is no EDFC for it, but who cares, it's your daily driver anyway. Soften it up lower it a little, and rock it until you get enough for your 5-series.

Who cares how low it will go. It's a good balance between ride and handling. Personally I would go with Tein Basics since they have a higher springrate than the Nismos and I don't need a full adjustable setup like the Tein SS. Also, the Nismos include everything so that you don't need to reuse a bunch of your stock parts that are required for the install.
