Bryan: much love man, but you said in your review post on the other board that you buyrned your tired through 1st, 2nd, and spun in 3rd. Traction is the most important thing here, so I think you should practice your launch and give us an underdog victory.

here is sort of the story. i just copied it from another post somewhere else

yesterday pulling up to a light, gave it a little gas to get around someone being stupid and braked. car dies. pulls the same crap where it doesn't start again for about 5 mins or so.of course this always happens to me on a busy street.

so i get it started and do what i was doing and go home, no more stalling. me and the guy that wired up my IACV were messing with it, and it stalled on him too. i KNOW it's getting flooded because of how much gas i smell when it won't start on me.

so, it's come down to the fuel pump (doubt it), fpr (dunno), ecu, and maf. we pulled the fuel fuse out, and the car still started....and stayed on for a good 5 seconds before dying. it's not supposed to do that with no fuse, lol. wayyy too much fuel somewhere.

i think it's the maf, i dunno why i just do. when the bov was recirculated, the intake piping was moved to sort of go under the battery, instead of how it was before going back towards the firewall...so maybe it has something to do with that? this is freakin weird dude, cause it doesn't do this all of the time. i drove around a good 200 miles saturday and sunday and didn't have any problems till last night when i left work.

hrmmm.... is the fuel rail you have, a high flow? when are you going to get an SAFC?

the fuel rail is ftf, it's fine. i'll get an safc when i have money, but that won't completely fix the problem anyway, i'd rather it actually be fixed instead of having to rely on that

have u monitored the a/f at all? on a dyno or anything since you've had it installed?

what plugs are you running? maybe you're not getting enough spark???

no i haven't done any a/f stuff, i guess i was just planning on doing that next weekend. i have NO money until i get paid again. plugs, ngk coppers, they are fine checked them already. i don't think it has anything to do with it not getting any spark, the car starts just fine. it only dies on me when i hit the gas and brake right after, then it floods it out and i can't start the car for a bit. clayton will any of your laptop mumbo jumbo be able to do any readings on my car? my obd port isn't hooked up since it's a b14 ecu, i need to get that done

i could hook up my laptop... but it would be at least a half day ordeal. i would have to unwire my zt2, take out my wideband o2 sensor, find the wire diagram for your ECU, wire the zt2 to your car, install the wideband and then we could check it out...

and buy the additional wideband sensor and the additional signal harness. once you have that wired up in your car, it's literally just a matter of plug and play with my laptop. could be hooked up and running within 10mins.
